I'm a single mom with 2 boys, ages 14 and 13. I got engaged this past Christmas but we have not set a date yet.
I work at a local tire store as a receptionist and have to deal with idiots on a daily basis, and that's just my coworkers.
Because of allergies between my youngest and myself, we can't have cats so was have 2 gerbils, Midnite and Cinnamon, and a 55 gallon tank full of Convict Ciclids, which are meat eating fish, similar to Oscars.
Update: A couple of weeks ago, we lost Cinnamon. We got both the gerbils about 4 years ago when they were just babies. We have watched them fight and make up. We have had to separate them a couple of times because of their fighting, but they were sisters and like sisters, they would make up like nothing was wrong. Midnight has realized she is now alone in the cages and has began to change the way she's done things for the past 4 years. Since she's an old lady (life span of a gerbil is 3-5 years), we are waiting to get any more gerbils so we don't add to her stress.
Our Midnight passed away on the night of November 2, 2008. We are not sure what happened. Over the past week, we noticed she was not eating as much and had gotten thinner. She was very weak Sunday and finally gave up the fight. She will be missed greatly by all at our house.
RIP Cinnamon and Midnight. We miss you.
